Following a recent Malaysian Government announcement that Malaysia will open its borders to international travellers from April 1st, we are very happy to announce that the 32nd Edition of the Raja Muda Selangor International Regatta will take place on the following dates:
Friday 18th to Saturday 26th November 2022
The regatta will follow the familiar format with racing held between Port Klang, Pangkor, Penang and Langkawi, including social events along the way.
We hope that boat owners, crew members, sponsors and old friends will be able to join us again after a two year gap in organising a full international event. Sailors new to RMSIR are of course equally welcome. Now is the time to start planning, particularly if your yacht has been inactive for some time.
The organising committee are looking forward to having an active racing class once again, with 40 ft and 50 ft boats up against one another, a competitive Premier Cruising class that is particularly suited to the passage races, a good mix of IRC 2 boats, a cruising class made up of an interesting variety of yachts from different countries, and of course the regular Classic Yachts that appear so stately on the water. The final class split will be decided later.
If you have any suggestions or requests for improving the race format or social planning, please send them to us. All ideas will be considered. Further information on RMSIR32 will be distributed in the coming months as our planning progresses. Online registration will be open soon.
When you write an article you assign it to a section of your site.
Sections use a page template and a style to define how site content appears in a browser.
Page templates typically use HTML and Textpattern tags (like this: <txp:article />) to build the output code.
Some Textpattern tags use forms, reusable building blocks that provide extensive control and customization over your site construction.
Pages, styles and forms can be packaged into themes and assigned to one or more sections.
Textpattern tags, their attributes and values are explained within the Textpattern User Documentation, where you will also find valuable examples, advice and tutorials.
There’s also a group of friendly, helpful Textpattern users and administrators at the Textpattern support forum.
This is an example article included with Textpattern to demonstrate some of the first steps you can undertake. An example comment is associated with this article. The article and comment can be safely deleted using the articles and comments lists.
